There’s nothing like watching a pile of shirts transform into a quilt. From the first layout to the final stitching, every step is filled with care, intention, and excitement. Knowing that these quilts will be cherished for years, maybe even generations, fills me with purpose.
Not all meaningful garments are T-shirts, and your quilt shouldn’t be limited to them! I can create beautiful memory or memorial quilts using clothing such as button-down shirts, dresses, flannels, pajamas, uniforms, and more. These quilts honor the moments, people, and stories held in everyday fabrics—not just tees.
There’s something magical about a rag quilt — the texture, the softness, the way it blooms after the first wash. But if you’ve ever made one, you know they can also get heavy and bulky, especially at seam intersections.
That’s exactly why I revisited one of my favorite designs and gave it a thoughtful refresh.

This means that the quilting will be uniform across the quilt top and not area-specific.
My goal as a quilter is to make the quilting look custom by the way we carefully select the quilting design to match your quilt top.
