Q: Do I have to use interfacing on the back of the shirts?
A: I do not use interfacing on the back of my shirts for T-Shirt Quilts. I use a technique that achieves a softer quilt without the added expense from using interfacing!

I have had clients go over every detail.
This is your quilt and I want it to be a treasure for you and/or your recipient! We can go over the design details and your preferences.
My “standard” quilt is made with top-quality, 100% cotton quilting products and fabrics to achieve the best possible outcome!
Standard backing and sashing colors are:
Backing fabrics are a luxurious, 100% cotton with a sateen finish. So nice against your skin!
If you prefer a different backing or a different sashing fabric, there is a small upcharge for those.
We can discuss any options that you may prefer so you receive the quilt that you desire!
To keep your T-shirt quilt soft, flexible, and long-lasting, I recommend quilting designs that distribute stitching evenly across the quilt. This helps stabilize the knit fabrics evenly. (Here are a few suggestions.)

Block Party style quilt. Borders in one color. Solid backing.
Polaroid style quilt. Borders in one color. Solid backing.
Shirt counts are guidelines; I design the layout based on the shirts you send and the size you choose.
